Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use Bio U services provided by Yugal Healthtech Private Limited. By submitting a booking, you confirm that the information supplied is accurate and that you accept these terms and the linked policies.

Our role

Yugal coordinates at-home health screening, sample collection, laboratory processing, digital report delivery and informational summaries. Yugal is not itself a diagnostic laboratory and does not replace a medical practitioner. Diagnostic testing is performed by third-party laboratory partners.

Eligibility and consent

You must be legally able to make the booking or be authorised to act for the patient. Each adult patient must consent to collection and processing of their health information. A household organiser does not automatically gain access to another adult’s sensitive results.

Bookings and confirmation

A submitted order is a request, not a guaranteed appointment. A booking becomes confirmed after serviceability, test availability, preparation requirements and collector capacity are verified. We may contact you to correct details or propose another time.

Pricing and payment

Prices shown apply at the time of booking unless an obvious error exists. No online payment is collected in the current flow. The confirmed order will state the amount and payment instructions. Confirmed prices are not changed afterward except where the customer approves a changed test list.

Preparation and collection

Patients must follow the package-specific preparation instructions and provide accurate identity, medicines, pregnancy status and relevant information. A collector or laboratory may decline or reschedule collection when safe or valid processing is not possible.

Reports and interpretation

Laboratory reports are generated by laboratory partners. Bio U may provide an AI-assisted informational summary. Neither is a substitute for clinical diagnosis or treatment. Critical or unexpected results require appropriate medical attention.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep verification codes and account access private. Do not attempt to access another person’s report, disrupt the service, submit fraudulent orders or misuse health information.

Third-party dependencies

Collection, laboratory processing and communication rely on external providers. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve delays, but timings can change because of sample quality, test method, logistics or provider availability.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Yugal is not responsible for medical decisions made without qualified clinical advice or for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes should first be raised with the company for good-faith resolution. Courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer law.
